It’s almost here! One more week until the Arty Party Day!
I’ll be sending out ALL THE LINKS next week. I’m going live on YouTube 4 times that day and live on Zoom once.
Let’s look at the schedule:
(but FIRST, you’re going to want to go join this Facebook Group: My Sale Page
It will be an easy place to find all the links and easily tune in to the lives.)
8:30 am Central Time is Morning Coffee. I’ll have some conversation starters to help us get to know one another, and I’ll share the schedule for the rest of the day. I may share about the giveaways–all the details will be in next week’s Magic News (this newsletter), so make sure you and your friends are signed up.
10:00 am Central Time is a soft pastel painting demo. I’ll present the audience with some options as to what I will paint, and then I’ll create a painting right then and there. We can chat, you can ask questions, or you can just watch and relax.
11:30 am Central Time I will demo something to do with clay. What would you like to see? A bowl? A planter? A musical instrument like an Udu drum, shaker or ocarina?
2:00 pm Central Time By this time the Magical Freaking Unicorn will arrive. Tea will be brewed and set up. ONLY MAGIC NEWS SUBSCRIBERS (and people signed up on my sale page, link above) will get the link to this. It is a ZOOM tea party, so you will be LIVE with the UNICORN. Dress appropriately 😉
6:30 pm Central Time It’s the ARTY PARTY!!! Art show, chat, giveaways, and lots of just good, plain fun. If you can only do ONE of the events, THIS is the one.
Now. Enough of that. Let me tell you about IAPS. The Biggest Pastel Party on the Planet was so inspiring! I always wondered if I would enjoy traveling slowly instead of being in such a time crunch to try to get to the destination quickly. I can tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed taking three days to get to Albuquerque and two to get back home.
Here are a few photos from the trip up:
And this is dinner with some pastel friends on Monday night.
There are just a few pastel big names at that table!
My biggest take away from the whole conference was this: I must paint more, and I must paint more from life. So this very morning I went out to paint. There is a local vegetable stand that I’ve always wanted to paint. This piece is not yet complete, but it won’t take much to make it into a very nice small painting.
There’s so much more to show and tell! But I will wait. I really am focused on making our Arty Party as fun as possible!
Share this post with all your friends: they won’t be mad, they’ll be glad!
