Announcements:
I’ll be participating in the Burnet Art Festival “Art in the Window” this weekend. If you’re local, come on out to Burnet square and talk to the artists painting there. I’m not sure exactly when I’ll be painting on the square, but I will be there at some point! Blog is short and sweet this week.
All commissions for Christmas are now closed. A partial explanation is below, but mostly it’s just too late for me to get things done. I’m happy to have you shop from my current inventory!
Don’t forget you can also shop from home either on my website OR at the ARTY PARTY, November 26.
This week in the studio
Oh, my. I’m now on the fourth iteration of these platters. Everything I’m trying is teaching me something new, but I keep having to remake them!
So that’s what’s been going on in the studio. Also I’ve been working little every day on my “no excuses” board that I started last week.
I also want to share some music student successes! These students have worked very hard and successfully completed their levels of piano study!
And here are some other things I’ve worked on in the pottery studio while waiting for the platters to dry (and crack! boohoohoo.)
Your Turn: Questions to Answer, Opinions to Express!
Since I’m going to be busy all weekend, I thought I’d give YOU a chance to let me know what you’re thinking! Please reply to the email or answer in the comment form below. I really do want to know!
Here are some questions and topics to get you started:
- What do you like about this blog?
- What disappoints you about this blog?
- Have you been encouraged by reading this blog?
- Have you watched the vlog? If so, did you enjoy it more than the written one?
- What would make you want to share this blog (or the vlog) with a friend?
- How can I help you be more creative and artistic in your life?
- What other things would you like to say?
Meanwhile, I am praying that you will look for the music, listen for the colors, reach out for the magic, and nurture the wonder and worship in your heart. As always, I wish you
Godspeed.
