So during the hardest part of quarantine for me, I spent time watching random YouTube videos. Eventually I decided to watch some art videos (of course!).
Since I have zero background in art I figured it would be a good idea to start learning about some of the past pastel masters (see what I did there?).
Let this be a lesson to all: there are people out there who can find all sorts of incredible metaphors, similes, hyperbole, and socio-political meanings in these paintings. And they are free to do so, since the artist is dead.
