It’s Been a Minute! Pottery, Music, and Website

In which we learn more about the re-designed website and updates on art, pottery, music, the annual creatives retreat, and my participation as a featured artist in a Bible Cluster.

Website

To business: Allow me to introduce the re-designed website. Isn’t it pretty? It’s ok, you can say it is: I didn’t do it, so you won’t be making my head too big. I hired a web designer to take it from ok to WOW! I’m loving it, and I hope you do, too. Please let me know if you find problems: since the site was moved from one hosting server to another, there are definitely things that need fine tuning.

Art and Pottery

I continue to create. Much of it will be uploaded here in the next few months as I have time. If you’re looking for more information on something over on Instagram, just message me. I’ll be uploading as fast as I can, but my priority is creating and teaching, so I’m happy to upload and tell the story of anything you specifically request.

One of the things that I’m creating now that you will soon see here is pottery! That’s a longer story which I hope to include here on the blog sooner rather than later. Pottery is a love and passion from long ago which has come back, and I can’t wait to share some of it with you.

Teaching Music

Next: I have been and am teaching piano, voice, flute, and ukulele in person at my home and also virtually. As of now, I am teaching GUITAR as well! Some of you have been asking, and I’ve finally given in. I purchased a sweet little guitar to teach with, a Taylor MiniGS. I look forward to teaching some tunes.

Creatives Retreat

Last year I co-hosted an artist’s retreat out at Camp of the Hills in Marble Falls Texas. We’re doing it again this year, but we’ve tweaked it a little: now it is a Creatives Retreat. I’ll be making a separate post about it in a few days. The dates for the retreat are April 29-May 1. One more thing: I will be participating as an artist in this month’s Bible Cluster over at Engage Art Contest. I’d love to have you attend the meeting.
