This Week in the Studio

I’m so EXCITED to report a WIN at the Central Texas Pastel Society last Saturday. My piece “Exquisite Treasure of Green Emotions” placed Second in the Emerging Artist category. This is a huge milestone for me, for it is the first time any of my art has placed (I’ve had honorable mentions).

Kiln Opening! Two of them, in fact. The Big Kiln is in need of repair, and therefore I used the Baby Kiln to fire, but not everything would fit for one session.

Holiday Anticipation

I am looking forward to slowing down a bit during the holiday season. I usually take time to evaluate my trajectory for the new year, enjoy my art making just for the sake of making (instead of producing for sale), and spend time with family.

I hope you, too can let go of the rush and tyranny of the urgent, and find a little quiet and centering peace in the Savior during this season.

Of course all my art will remain available for sale during the season…you’ll just be paying regular price if you are unable to shop during the sale. If you see something on social media that is not available in my shop, please just message me. It’s only one extra step and you will have the piece you like in no time.

During the holidays, make it your intention to…

…search for the music, listen for the colors, reach for the magic, and discover the wonder and worship in your heart.
