Spring Fling
I’ll be displaying my artwork, both ceramic and pastel at the Horseshoe Bay Spring Fling at Quail Point on Saturday April 23 from 2-6 pm. This is going to be a fun event: look what else is happening!

A Question Answered
My follower Dominique sent a question to me on Instagram (@estherljonesdotcom) asking about how to transport her unframed pastel pieces to shows so that they would stay in good shape through the packing, travel, and handling at the show.
The neat thing about pastel paintings is that they are not as “fragile” as you might think. I jumped on Youtube and made a video to answer her. Here it is:

My Music
If you’ve been following me mostly for my art, I want to share another part of me: I am also a musician and music teacher! Ok, so for some of you that’s no surprise, but for others it may be something you didn’t know.
This will begin to be more obvious as time goes on, since more blog posts will feature music related topics. I hope to set up the blog so that it’s easy to filter between art/art lessons and music/music lessons, so you can choose to focus on what interests you most.
